I know time has gotten away from me and there are still so many things I was hoping to share with you! (Including the road trip I had told you about last time). Oh well. I am still hoping to get to that. As you may be able to imagine, being in healthcare has been all time consuming and exhausting in many different ways.

There is hope though. I received my first of two COVID-19 shots on Christmas Eve. There really were no side effects. The shot felt better than my average flu shot! Sure I had some arm tenderness the next day, but that was mostly if someone tried to touch it (looking at you dad) and it went away by the day after.

The other side effect (which I didn’t see as a negative) was that I was running slightly hotter than usual. Not by a lot. I mean not even a low grade fever type running hot. Just slightly warmer and I can tell you it was very welcome in my cold apartment! So that was a win for me. I am looking forward to finishing out my doses in hopes that next year can be brighter and happier for all of us.

I’m not surprised the number 1 ended up that way. It’s an important post that I hope you take the chance to read. I am hoping that you all stay safe, protect the ones you love and love thy neighbor. I am sincerely hoping for a better 2021 as this past year was horrendous in many ways. Let’s keep fighting forward, but please be kind to those around you. Many are struggling in one way or another, but they might not show it outright.
