Sandwich Upgrades
It’s the ReDux birthday month! Birthdays are a time to take stock and upgrade. Show us your healthy upgrades to the simple sandwich!
You know, growing up I used to eat a TON of sandwiches. I pretty much ate either a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a peanut butter and banana toasted sandwich EVERY DAY.
Not going to lie though, my peanut butter to jam ratio was always a TON of peanut butter and just the thinnest jam layer just to be able to call it a PB&J haha.
Over the past several years, though, I just haven’t really eaten many sandwiches. That mainly started when I started living on my own and just couldn’t get through a loaf of bread before it went bad. So, I stopped buying it. However, here and there I’ll have some sort of bread in the house and will make a sandwich.
This is not a sponsored post, I’m merely just a fan of the flatout wraps though. I think they are tasty, are quite moldable and wrap well. The nutritional profile is great compared to bread for those who need to watch their carb intake and need to increase their fiber load. So, this sandwich is a great way to get a good dose of protein and fiber all in one! It’s got a bit of creaminess from the hummus spread, as well!
If you are looking for other ways to use FlatOut wraps, try using them as an easy pizza base!

Thanks for hosting!
Love the combo of tuna and artichokes! Sounds like a nice and light sandwich!
It was great for this time of year especially!
I never use artichokes. For this recipe, does it come in a jar? Or do you prepare a raw one some way? Looks and sounds yummy!
I love artichokes! For this recipe I use the ones that come in a jar ( I use the ones that only have the artichoke hearts in water and nothing else). then you can just take a couple out and place them in the wrap. You can peel them a bit as well to spread them out. It makes it quick and easy!
