It’s time for this month’s Recipe Redux post. The theme is all about crunchy snacks!!
Crunchy Snacks
Whether headed to the beach, or headed back to school, or ready for football – we’re craving crunchy snacks. Show us your favorite healthy snack recipe with crackle and crunch.
This crunchy snack is great for any occasion. It can be made quickly to quench those savory, crunchy cravings. It can be taken with you, made for a crowd. Football game snack anyone?
Anyone who knows me knows that I love snacks. I snack all the time. I am one of those people who eats many many times of the day and my appetite is ferocious. I don’t need full meals…just something, you know? So I get very excited about snacks. You say there will be snacks? I will be there.
Popcorn is a great snack. (Air-popped popcorn is significantly better than the bagged kind). It is a clean source of fiber and you can eat a lot of it!! I am also all about volume foods. So, popcorn is a great fit for me, especially when I want something crunchy.
This is a picture of the air popper I have. I love the retro feel to it and it is super easy to use. Just throw your kernals in there, heat it up and you are good to go! No added chemicals or extra ingredients from bag popped popcorn.
So, what are you waiting for?! Get your pop corn popped (either with an air popper or your preferred method) toss on some hot sauce and you are good to go. Get excited for this finger-lickin’ good snack!

This looks and sounds so good! Adding to the list for my savory popcorn cravings for those nights I know that just plain salted popcorn won’t do and my husband wants some too since he isn’t a fan of truffle oil.
I’m not a truffle oil fan either haha so I think he would like this simple twist if he likes hot sauce!
oh yeah. My kind of popcorn!! And sometimes that’s what’s for dinner! Thank you so much for sharing at the What’s for Dinner party!
Nice!! Yeah..I’ve eaten popcorn for dinner before haha
This is such a great idea, simple and delicious! I am a huge snack person too…give me snacks all day and I will be a happy girl.
We must be of the same stock then! Lol. Snacks are really just the best

It would be great for a party! I love the machine and use it all the time. Thanks!!
hahaha, that cat meme!! Popcorn is definitely one of my favorite snacks–I’ve had it with sriracha and maple, but never just hot sauce! I’m gonna have to do that next! 😛
Popcorn is so great. Especially when I need something to munch on.
