This is generally how I bake and cook. I just use whatever I have on hand, throw it together and hope for the best. Now is a great time for this in particular because I am about to move AGAIN. BLAH. I am so tired of moving, but I have a couple moves coming up in a very short amount of time, so I am all about that not buying anything else if possible and just using what I have on hand.
So what do I always have on hand? Oatmeal and protein powder for sure so why not use them to make my favorite form of oatmeal!?! This would be baked oatmeal, of course! I have plenty of recipes for baked oatmeal, and I love to just take various ingredients that I have on hand, mix it up with some oatmeal, add some liquid, throw it into the oven and bam 25 minutes later have a delicious, hot, satisfying breakfast. LOVE.

Yum!!! What a delicious combo. Looks like a great recipe. I just moved this weekend so I totally get you about not wanting to buy too much when a move is coming up!
For sure! It can be so hard though. I feel like I need to buy things to use what I’ve got. It’s a tricky balance haha. I hope you had a great move! Did you use movers?
Loving the caramel walnut combo and I always have walnuts I buy in bulk for the holidays that I try to use up in the spring so this is perfect.
Perfect! I hope you can use this recipe to help use your walnut stock!
You cannot go wrong with oatmeal, cinnamon and choc chips! Thanks for linking up
I agree haha. Chocolate chips are always a plus in my book. Thanks for hosting!
I’m all about baked oatmeal!
Me too!! It’s my favorite way to have oatmeal
I bet my kids will love this!
It’s certainly a healthy, but kid friendly breakfast. The chocolate chips help with that one haha. I hope they enjoy it!
What a great way to use those pantry staples. Good luck on the move!
Thank you!! My hardest part will be figuring out how to move everything this time. And also finishing all the food I’ve got here lol
I can’t think of a better way to use up ingredients than with this! Sounds delicious
My thoughts exactly! Lol!
