“I received free samples of Sabra mentioned in this post. By posting this recipe I am entering a recipe contest sponsored by Sabra and am eligible to win prizes associated with the contest. I was not compensated for my time.”
We are going to take a break from my trip update this week since I recently received several samples of Sabra Hummus to try out and wanted to share this with you! I was pumped to see the package in the mail, but more so when I saw that there were new flavors that I had never had before!
The flavors above Jalapeno, Caramelized Onion, Classic, Sun Dried Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper. If you remember, I did a post a while back with the Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. I made some AWESOME Roasted Red Pepper Deviled Eggs that only call for 2 ingredients and will be devoured quickly. Check out that recipe here if you are interested!
I will say though, I was a bit bummed because the Supremely Spicy Sabra Hummus is SO GOOD. That is ok, though, since most of the ones I was sent I hadn’t tried before! They have some really awesome flavors though that I need to check out. I mean come on, how good does Spinach and Artichoke Hummus, or BBQ Hummus with Jackfruit and Smoked Paprika sound?! They have over a dozen flavors (and even have some organic varieties, too) and all of them sound yummy. Want to explore more of what Sabra has to offer? Feel free to check the Sabra Website!
Hummus is great because it is so versatile and is a clean source of protein. It is a great swap for things like mayonnaise in sandwiches and ranch for dips. Chickpeas (the basis for hummus) is an excellent choice especially if you are vegetarian/vegan. They are full of fiber which helps with digestion and satiety.
You always have the option of making your own hummus (here is a link to my homemade oil-free tahini recipe), but there are times where you just want to buy it and Sabra Hummus is certainly a great choice for those times. Let me know what your favorite flavor is!
